Run & Gun: Directed by Christopher Borrelli. With Ben Milliken, Brad William Henke, Janel Parrish, Richard Kind. After leaving a life of crime and violence, Ray is a reformed good guy who enjoys a quiet family life in the suburbs.

Taken as a thriller rather than an action film, Run & Gun fares a bit better. The plot's beats are still very familiar, and at times obvious. And using the Salton Sea as a location verges on cliché. But some of the film's odder moments and better bits of dialogue take the edge off of it. But that's really all they can do.

Richard Kind co-stars in 2022's Run & Gun. It's weird seeing him play a baddie but he's decent at it. Too bad "Gun's" script doesn't do him a whole lot of justice. The dialogue between Kind and the other actors is rather banal, cutely unimaginative, and somehow written by a teenager who had one too many energy drinks.

Heist movies never tell their stories in a linear fashion, and the action film Run & Gun is no exception. Directed by Christopher Borelli and out now on digital platforms, Run & Gun's cast includes Mark Dacascos and Richard Kind. The two play a brother duo who significantly complicate the life of the protagonist as he attempts to get a fresh start on his life.
