700 Words Essay on Why I Love Pakistan

Pakistan, my homeland, holds a cherished place in my heart for countless reasons. The breathtaking beauty of our country never fails to captivate me. From the majestic peaks of the northern mountains to the serene beaches of the southern coast, Pakistan’s landscapes are diverse and awe-inspiring. Whether trekking through the lush valleys of Swat or exploring the ancient forts of Punjab, each region offers a unique glimpse into the natural splendor that defines our nation.

Beyond its physical allure, Pakistan is a tapestry woven with the threads of diverse cultures and traditions. Our society is a vibrant mosaic of languages, customs, and festivals that reflect the richness of our heritage. Whether celebrating the vibrancy of Basant in Lahore or the cultural richness of Sindhi weddings, these traditions unite us in a shared sense of pride and identity.

The history of Pakistan is a testament to the resilience and courage of its people. Our journey to independence, under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, symbolizes our unwavering determination to forge our own destiny. The sacrifices made during the struggle for freedom and subsequent conflicts have shaped our national identity and inspire us to uphold the values of unity and perseverance.

Pakistan’s potential for growth and opportunity is another reason why I hold it dear. With a burgeoning youth population and a rapidly expanding economy, there are endless possibilities for progress in fields such as technology, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. As a student, I am eager to contribute to the advancement of our country and to play my part in shaping its promising future.

Additionally, the principles of Islam form the moral compass of our society. Values such as compassion, justice, and respect for others are integral to our interactions and underscore our commitment to harmony and understanding. These teachings not only guide our personal conduct but also foster a spirit of unity among Pakistanis of diverse backgrounds.

The cultural diversity of Pakistan is a source of immense pride and fascination for me. Each province and region boasts its own distinct traditions and languages, adding layers of richness to our national identity. From the vibrant dance forms of Punjab to the intricate artistry of Balochi embroidery, these cultural expressions celebrate our heritage and foster a deep sense of belonging among Pakistanis.

Moreover, Pakistan’s rich literary heritage has left an indelible mark on me. From the poetry of Allama Iqbal, who envisioned Pakistan as a homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent, to the literary prowess of writers like Saadat Hasan Manto and Faiz Ahmed Faiz, our literature reflects the depth of our intellectual and artistic traditions. These literary giants have inspired generations with their words, shaping our collective consciousness and reaffirming our commitment to knowledge and enlightenment.

The hospitality of the Pakistani people is another aspect of our national character that fills me with pride. Whether in bustling cities or remote villages, the warmth and generosity of Pakistanis are evident in our interactions with friends, family, and strangers alike. The tradition of ‘mehman nawazi’ (hospitality) is deeply ingrained in our culture, embodying the values of kindness and openness that define us as a nation.

Furthermore, Pakistan’s geographical location is strategically significant, bridging South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. This unique position has historically made Pakistan a hub of trade, culture, and diplomacy. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a testament to our country’s potential to serve as a gateway for economic cooperation and development in the region and beyond.

As a student, I am keenly aware of the challenges that Pakistan faces, from economic disparities to social issues and environmental concerns. However, these challenges also represent opportunities for growth and transformation. The resilience and resourcefulness of our people give me hope for a future where Pakistan can fulfill its immense potential as a prosperous and progressive nation.

In conclusion, my love for Pakistan is rooted in its natural beauty, cultural diversity, rich history, economic potential, adherence to Islamic values, literary heritage, hospitality, and strategic significance. Each aspect contributes to the unique tapestry that is Pakistan, a country that continues to evolve and inspire. As a student, I am proud to be part of this dynamic nation and committed to contributing positively to its future. Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow for Pakistan, where every Pakistani can thrive and prosper.

Sample essay on My Favorite City Lahore

Lahore is considered to be the “heart of Pakistan”. I used to hear about its beauty and charm a lot before I finally made my mind to go and see it. I somehow managed to go there alone to be able to experience each and everything on my own. I realized after my visit that why people are in so much love with this city.

People & Culture

Lahore has a very rich cultural heritage which has kept it as the traditional capital of Punjab for so many centuries. Also, the people live there are so full of life and cheerful. I found most of them very straight-forward and funny.

I also knew about a lot of misperceptions people have about “Lahoris”. But after I paid a visit to Lahore and met a lot of people there, I came to know that it was actually the opposite. The people in Lahore don’t poke their noses into each others’ businesses and everyone has the right to live the way they want to.

Education and Training

Moreover, Lahore is considered to be a core of education and training. People from other cities come here to get higher studies from its prestigious colleges and universities. You would see the huge diversity in its population of 10 million. I also got to see and meet people from every religion, race, and walk of life.

Anarkali Bazaar

There are many places in Lahore which are worth visiting. I went to Anarkali bazaar which is the busiest part of Lahore. Although its streets were narrow and crowded, it is still one of the best experiences I had in my life. I bought a lot of dresses, shoes, and bags from there which are rarely found anywhere else.

Food Street

Food street of Lahore is another charming place to which I paid a visit. There is such a huge diversity in traditional and fast food dishes that I bet everyone can find his favorite food here. I tried a lot of dishes which were so mouth-watering that I still remember them.

Minar-e-Pakistan

Minar-e-Pakistan is situated in old Lahore which is a symbol of independence of Muslim. You can see the view of entire Lahore from the top of Minar-e-Pakistan. I also went to the top and the view was really breathtaking. I made a lot of photos as well to be able to recall my beautiful memories.

Masjid Wazir Khan

It is a 17th-century mosque which is located in the city of Lahore. It is a historical place which was commissioned during the ruling period of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The architecture is so beautiful that it is really difficult to take eyes off it. I spend a lot of hours there praying and observing people around me.

There are other special places in Lahore as well like Lahore fort, Sunehri Masjid, Iqbal Park, Shalamar Garden, and so many more. People from all over the world come to visit these beautiful places of Lahore. I would also suggest you go and witness the beauty of Lahore yourself.

Essay on My Visit to Murree Valley Pakistan

Murree is a real beauty of Pakistan which is also known as “Queen of Hills”. It looks like a fantasy which grabs the attention of a lot of tourists. Every summer a lot of people from different nations visit it to get rid of the scorching heat of the sun. I didn’t get a chance to visit it before but last summer when I went there, the whole experience of traveling and visiting beautiful places was memorable.

my favorite place in pakistan essay

The weather of Murree is always pleasant and cool. Most of the people even get a chance to experience snow falling. There are beautiful shops, restaurants, cafĂŠs, and stalls all around. Moreover, you can hear the fusion of western and Pakistani music which makes the whole atmosphere even more attractive. When the light gets dim in the evening, it becomes harder to leave the place or get back to the hotels. Everyone tends to have a secret desire of staying in the hills forever.

The most important and popular part of the Murree is “Mall Road” which I also visited first. It is always crowded as a lot of people come here to have delicious food and buy unique things for their friends, family, and relatives. However, the best time to visit this road is certainly after the evening when the overall view becomes even more splendid. Also, a lot of adventurous people prefer going to Mall road at midnight. So, the tour of Murree is incomplete without going here.

  • Chair Lift & Cable Car

Chair lift and cable car are other most highlighted features of Murree which everyone loves. It can take one from new Murree to Patriata which are at the distance of 7km from each other. The whole area which comes in between these two destinations is covered with dark and huge forests. Every person is charged at least 500 rupees to complete the ride through chair lift or cable car. The rates, however, keep on increasing over time. But it is absolutely worth it as you get to see a lot of beautiful sceneries from the bird’s eye view.

  • Kashmir Point

Kashmir Point is another place in Murree which would leave you surprised. It is covered with fruit and pine trees where you can see a lot of carefree monkeys jumping from one branch or tree to another. There are also many picnic spots as well which you can visit simply by following the other people or asking any native about it. Most of the spots are surrounded by long hills and dark green trees. Moreover, you would see clouds so near to you that they would give the allusion that you can touch them. It completely feels like paradise which would make you want to stay there throughout the year. In a nutshell, Murree is the most beautiful and unforgettable place to visit at least once in your life. I won’t even mind visiting it every year as it is a fantastic place.

5 Reasons Why Pakistan is my Favourite Country in the World!

Best reasons to visit Pakistan

  • share
  • save

After travelling to more than 60 countries, there’s one question which I get all the time: “What’s your favourite country in the world”? This question was always very difficult, almost impossible to answer. There are just too many beautiful and exciting destinations in the world. However, after my recent trip to Pakistan, there’s one country immediately popping up in my head when I get asked this question: Pakistan!

Here’s also a video about my Pakistan experience:

The reason I visited Pakistan was to attend the IESS program from IBA Karachi – a 3-weeks summer school including academic sessions, cultural excursions as well as trip through northern Pakistan. During this time, I fell in love with Pakistan and I just can’t wait to return. Here’s why!

Reasons to Visit Pakistan at Attabad Lake Hunza

The cultural experience in Pakistan

Pakistan is far from becoming a big tourist destination. However, visitors will be rewarded with an incredible and unique cultural experience. Since I didn’t know much about Pakistan’s history and culture before my visit, I was happy to learn so much about the country. As part the IESS summer school program at IBA Karachi, I had the chance to connect and become friends with many local students who were eager to share their culture with me.

Reasons to Visit Pakistan - Lahore mosque

And during my 3 weeks in Pakistan, I was able to fully immerse into the Pakistani culture – I got a Kurta (traditional dress), celebrated Independence Day and Eid, ate tons of Biryani and drank more cups of chai than I could ever count. I was also able to learn a lot about Pakistan’s history, its political situation and the importance of religion in everyday life. I listened to Pakistani music, prayed in a mosque, was invited to a local student’s family, learned what a “pindi boy” is, said Urdu swear words and danced at a Pakistani Sufi night.

Visit Pakistan - celebrating Eid

While Pakistan certainly differs from Europe, I found it extremely exciting to learn more about Pakistan and also to share my life and culture from Germany with my new friends. By the way: Not a single time, I received any negative remarks or comments about not being a Muslim or from Europe. Every person I met was extremely polite and welcoming.

Visit Pakistan beach in Karachi

The breath-taking landscape and nature

This one is easy. Pakistan is simply beautiful. If you’d ask people in Europe about how they’d picture the landscape of Pakistan, most of them wouldn’t have a clue. Desert? Stones? Big cities with many people? Yeah – all of this is true. But there’s so much more!

Visit northern Pakistan valleys

Especially northern Pakistan is probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. Once you leave the big and busy cities such as Karachi, you find yourself in green and lush valleys, with crystal-clear water running in streams and local villages along the way. Once you make yourself further up north, the altitude rises, and you’re surrounded by snow-peaked mountains and deep-blue glacier lakes. I would have never expected to find such a landscape in Pakistan and rather felt like I’d be in New Zealand, Canada or Switzerland. But compared to those countries, you won’t find tourist crowds, resort towns and tour groups here. You’ll have this beauty all to yourself. Pakistan’s north is remote, unexplored and rural. Therefore, not many people have the privilege to experience this beautiful landscape.

Visiting Pakistan - Hunza mountains

The hospitality of the people in Pakistan

Yes, the nature and landscape of Pakistan is beautiful. However, the truly beautiful part about Pakistan are its people. After visiting more than 60 countries, I can honestly say that I never experienced hospitality like in Pakistan.

While some people at think that there would be certain biases towards Western tourists due to different religious and cultural beliefs, it was the direct opposite. I was treated like a king – which was sometimes even too much and almost embarrassing to be honest! When you’re traveling Pakistan, be prepared for random strangers greeting you, curious locals starting a conversation and chai vendors refusing to take your money. As a tourist in Pakistan, you’re still somewhat special and people are more than happy to welcome you to their country and to share their culture with you.

The hospitality of Pakistan’s people makes traveling this country a truly beautiful experience.

Favourit country Pakistan

All your stereotypes and negative images are wrong

“You’re going to Pakistan? Are you crazy?” – This is the reaction that I received from most people when telling them about my upcoming visit to Pakistan. And to be honest, their shocking reaction made me worry about my trip. Maybe it was actually a bad idea? Maybe I should cancel it.

Reasons to visit Pakistan, my Favorit country

Well, I didn’t. And boy, I’m happy that I didn’t. Because Pakistan proved me once again that all stereotypes and all negative images which exist in our world are completely wrong. If you’d ask people in Europe or North America about what they think if they hear the word “Pakistan”, the answer would be simple: Terrorists. Bombs. Bin Laden. Crazy religious extremists. No one would think about its beautiful landscape, its incredible culture and its hospitable people – although these points are so much more relevant and accurate when describing Pakistan. And this is why I travel and why I’m so happy that I had the chance to visit Pakistan. To see the truth and to prove to all my friends, family and readers that the stereotypes and negative images created by our media are wrong.

Visiting Pakistan - Old Lahore

Oh – and one aspect which many people might easily overlook: It wasn’t only about proving negative stereotypes about Pakistan wrong. I’ve learned that some Pakistanis also had some prejudices and biases regarding the Western world, especially when it comes to the apparent lack of moral, value and family ties. Many of the local students I met never left Pakistan or met a foreigner, therefore it’s been very interesting for me to share more about my life and my culture with them.

And that’s how my Pakistani friends and me all realized how wrong all those stupid misconceptions and stereotypes are – and how similar we actually are.

The friends I made in Pakistan

This is probably the most important point. Sure, the landscape is stunning, the culture is unique, and the hospitality is out of this world. But the main point which made Pakistan my favourite country were the wonderful people I met and who I can call my friends.

Reasons to visit Pakistan at Independence day Celebrations

Since I explored Pakistan as part of the IESS program, I spent my 3 weeks in Pakistan with a group of 20 local students from all over Pakistan. As a tourist, it’s always great to get to know and meet locals on your journey. However, most of the times, your connections with locals won’t become more than the usual small talk. This was different in Pakistan. Since we spent so much time together as a group, we all became very close with each other. We laughed together, we explored the country together, we celebrated Independence Day and Eid together. We had very deep and personal conversations about religions, politics and culture. And we realized again how similar we are.

Visiting Pakistan my favorite country

From the surface, Pakistan seems to be a completely different world compared to Europe. However, it was so easy to connect with the local students, despite different religious beliefs and possible stereotyping from both sides. All Pakistanis I met were extremely outgoing, open-minded, tolerant, intelligent and interesting people and it’s been a pleasure to become friends with them during my visit. I’m still in touch with many of them and I can’t wait to visit Pakistan again in the future – hopefully soon!

Visiting Pakistan with local friends

As you’ve seen – I’m in love with Pakistan and my trip around the country was one of the best experiences I ever had. I hope I was able to tell you why you should visit Pakistan and why Pakistan is my favorite country in the world!

What do you think about Pakistan? Have you already visited? Let me know in the comments!

Why I Love Pakistan Essay For Matric, F.A, FSC, 2nd Year, B.A and BSC | Patriotism – I Love My Country

Here is an outstanding essay for all the students whether they are in matric, Inter or B.A. This essay can be written for many topics like My country, Why I love Pakistan, Patriotism.

Note that this block is not part of essay. Essay content is written below

  • Patriotism is a noble sentiment
  • It is deep rooted
  • Pakistan is an ideological state
  • Pakistani nation is loving and peaceful nation

“Patriotism is an indispensable weapon in defense of civilization against barbarism”

Patriotism means ones love his country and nation.  A true patriot is always willing to die for the safety and integrity of country.  Patriotism is the noblest quality of mankind.  The man having no love for the country is the man without soul.  A country cannot survive long unless its people are willing to sacrifice their lives for it.

Ask not what your country can do for you.  Ask what you can do for your country

Patriotism is sign of love and respect for one’s country.  There are many examples in our history in which people have sacrificed their lives for their nations.  Their names must be written with the letters of gold in the history.

If we love our country we should always love our countrymen

Patriotism brings love, unity and discipline in a nation.  Man is a social animal.  His life is connected in thousand ways with the people around him.  So he longs for the unity and love with his fellows.  Everyone loves his place and his people except a few traitors.

I only regret that I have only one life to lose for my country

Patriotism is a noble sentiment and a true virtue.  It is a natural fundamental passion of every person to have deep love and respect for his country.

I love Pakistan with my heart and soul.  This love is not merely a show piece.  It is deep rooted as my ancestors got this land in exchange of sweat and blood.  Homeland is not just a piece of land instead it is a hope for my nation.  It is my homeland and motherland as it is the land of my ancestors.  Every inch of this land is scented with sacrifices of my elders.  Their bones are buried in this land.  Pakistan is my past, my present and future.

Pakistan is an ideological state and it is in the name of Islam in the world.  It came in to being after a lot of sacrifices of my forefathers.  Pakistan came into being on 14 august 1947in tireless and selfless leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Quaid said:

“With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to your duty there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve”

People of Pakistan are a peaceful nation.  They give priority to peace, love and brotherhood.  Their teachings told them to treat equally.  The feeling of patriotism is important for the freedom of country.  A patriotic person is always ready to sacrifice for the country or nation.  It is said that mother and motherland are superior to heaven.  There are many examples in history in which patriots sacrificed even their lives for the survival and defense of their country.  Like, Captain Kamal Sher Khan Shaheed, Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Major Shareef Shaheed, Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed.

Our flag doesn’t fly because the wind moves it.. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it

Short Essay on My Favourite Place in 200-500 Words

My favorite place in the world is my grandparents’ house in the countryside. It is a small, cozy cottage surrounded by lush green fields and towering trees. The moment I step foot on their property, I am overcome with a sense of peace and tranquility that I cannot find anywhere else.

The house itself is a quaint little building with a thatched roof and a charming front porch. Inside, the walls are adorned with family photos and knick-knacks collected over the years. The furniture is well-worn and comfortable, inviting me to sink into its cushions and relax.

One of my favorite things about my grandparents’ house is the sprawling garden that surrounds it. My grandmother has a green thumb and has cultivated a beautiful array of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. I love wandering through the garden, admiring the vibrant colors and sweet scents that fill the air.

Another highlight of my visits to my grandparents’ house is the delicious home-cooked meals that my grandmother prepares. She is an incredible cook and always has a feast waiting for me when I arrive. From hearty stews to freshly baked pies, every meal is a culinary delight that I look forward to.

But perhaps the best part of my time at my grandparents’ house is the quality time I get to spend with them. We sit on the porch swing and chat for hours, reminiscing about the past and sharing stories about our lives. My grandparents are a source of wisdom and comfort, and I cherish the moments I get to spend with them.

In the evenings, we gather around the fireplace and play board games or watch old movies. The crackling of the fire and the warmth of their presence make me feel safe and content. As I drift off to sleep in my cozy bed, I am filled with gratitude for the love and care that my grandparents provide.

My grandparents’ house is more than just a physical place; it is a sanctuary for my soul. It is where I can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with myself and my loved ones. The memories I have made there will stay with me forever, and I will always hold a special place in my heart for that little cottage in the countryside.

The golden sands stretch for miles, providing the perfect spot for sunbathing, picnicking, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the shore.

A Haven for the Curious Mind

Inside, the bookstore is a labyrinth of towering bookshelves, each crammed with a myriad of books from all genres. The beauty of this place lies not just in its vast collection, but also in its disarray. Unlike modern bookstores, where books are neatly arranged by genre, here, philosophy rubs shoulders with fantasy, and poetry mingles with mystery. This lack of order encourages exploration and serendipitous discovery, making every visit a unique adventure.

The Power of Literature

The unchanging comfort.

Yet, the bookstore is more than just a place to find books. It has become a refuge from the relentless pace of modern life. In an age where digital screens dominate, the tactile pleasure of flipping through the pages of a physical book is a welcome respite. The bookstore’s quiet ambiance, coupled with the soothing rhythm of browsing through bookshelves, creates a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.

My favourite place may not be an exotic destination or a picturesque landscape, but it holds a special place in my heart. The old bookstore is a sanctuary for my mind, a treasure trove of knowledge, and a constant reminder of the enduring power of literature. It is a testament to the timeless allure of books, and a symbol of resistance against the ephemeral nature of the digital age. In this ever-changing world, it stands as an unchanging beacon, reminding me of the simple pleasures that life has to offer.

A Sample Essay On My Favorite Place

My Favorite Place: The Beach

Everyone has that favorite place that he or she likes visiting, particularly for relaxation or vacation. The beautiful scenery that is characteristic of the most splendid beaches across the world helps individuals to relieve their minds by making them unwind after stressing or extended periods of working. Personally, I prefer to visit the beach to think, relax, rejuvenate, and have fun. However, other people might prefer other places based on their tastes and preferences. As compared to other places people can visit, the beach offers a distinctive, peaceful place because it enables one to experience nature in its raw form. Besides, the beauty of the beach is enhanced by the water waves and wind gusts that make accentuate the experience. Given that swimming is one of my hobbies, the beach is the natural place for me to be. My favorite place to visit is the beach because it serves as a place for observing beautiful sceneries, experiencing the forces of nature, exercising, mingling with friends, and relaxing.

To start with, without specifying a particular beach, beaches are known to have beautiful, captivating sceneries that kindle relaxation. As outlined by Hengky, the unique scenery of beaches is one of the key reasons that tourists travel thousands of miles to visit specific ones (1). Personally, I work in a busy Human Resource consultation company where we receive a constant flow of corporate and individual clients. After working forty hours a week, I long for a peaceful, quiet, yet scenic place I can rest and relax. Over the years, I have found the beach to be the perfect place to achieve this desire. Besides, some beaches operate night and day, which makes it convenient for me to access them in my free time.

Secondly, I love the beach because of its positive effect on the brain’s wellbeing and a healthier mental and physical state. Various studies have established that beaches possess "sea vitamin” that helps the body to feel calmer despite the existence of life and work stresses (Heiser 1). For example, the findings from English Census data appearing in the Health Place Journal indicated that people who reside close to the beach or visit frequently tend to possess better mental and physical health than those who do not. To further illustrate, Hawaii has been ranked as the happiest state in the United States six times by the Gallup poll since 2008 (Heiser 1). I am a health enthusiast who does not take such findings lightly and I visit the beach to exploit the benefits of the "sea vitamin.”

In addition, I feel that the experience and tranquility of the beach help me to reinvigorate my energy and enhance my moods after a week of exertion. Scholars have established that just being close to the water, feeling the sand, and enjoying the breeze make people feel rejuvenated and relaxed (De Kwant 131). To date, I have childhood memories around water; scouring for marine life at the beach, walking barefoot on the soft sand, and feeling the distinctive weightlessness when floating on the seawater. After having a swim in the blue water and taking a power nap along the beach, I always feel like I am ready to take on any challenge. The feeling is simply indescribable, which makes the beach stand out for me as the place I would desire to visit always.

The beach will always be my favorite place to visit because of its picturesque appearance, tranquility, rejuvenating properties, and overall therapy for a tired brain. Ever since I was young, I have preferred to relax at the beach and take in its natural aura that helps me to think while simultaneously enjoying the cool breeze and watching the waves beating against the shoreline. While I do not have a specific beach that I prefer, I feel that the serenity of the beach is what makes it stand out from the rest of the places.

A streak of light moves downward to the left of the Milky Way visible in a starry sky over a shadowed hillside.

The Perseids Meteor Shower Is Peaking. Here’s How to Watch.

Warm summer nights and swift colorful streaks make this meteor shower a crowd favorite, but this year, observers may have to compete with light from the moon.

Our universe might be chock-full of cosmic wonder, but you can observe only a fraction of astronomical phenomena with your naked eye. Meteor showers, natural fireworks that streak brightly across the night sky, are one of them.

The latest observable meteor shower will be the Perseids, which have been active since mid-July and are forecast to continue until the end of August, at the latest. They reach their peak Aug. 11 to 12, or Sunday night into Monday morning.

To get a hint at when to watch, you can use a meter that relies on data from the Global Meteor Network showing when real-time fireball activity levels increase in the coming days.

A favorite among skywatchers, the Perseids are one of the strongest shows each year, with as many as 100 long, colorful streaks an hour. It reaches its peak as two other showers, the Alpha Capricornids and the Southern Delta Aquarids — which both peaked at the end of July — are petering out.

The Perseids are best viewed from the Northern Hemisphere, just before dawn. This year, viewers may have to compete with light from the moon, which will be nearly half full on the night that the shower peaks. But according to Sky & Telescope , the moon will set before midnight, leaving the early morning hours sufficiently dark for a spectacular show.
