IGNOU June TEE 2021 Assignment, Exam Form Submission Deadline Extended

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the last date to submit assignments for the June 2021 Term End Examination (TEE). Students can submit their assignments, project reports, dissertation and other reports up to July 15, the university said. The IGNOU has also extended the deadline for submission of June 2021 TEE exam forms up to July 9.

Previously, the last date to submit IGNOU June TEE assignments and exam forms was June 30.

“IGNOU further extends the last date for Online/Physical submission of Assignments, Project Reports, Dissertation, Internship, Field Work Journal, etc., upto 15th July, 2021; Also extends the last date for Online submission of examination form upto 9th July 2021 for TEE, June 2021,” IGNOU tweeted.

To submit assignments, learners are required to login to the IGNOU website with their enrollment number, programme name, and date of birth.

“The learners may ensure that while submitting the final project through online mode, the Proposal Proforma is duly approved in original, along with “Synopsis” and Bio-data of the project guide and originality certificate is duly signed by both the Student and the Project Guide with date to be incorporated (wherever applicable),” IGNOU said.

While uploading digital copies of projects, learners should ensure that scanned pages are clear and not blurred, sequence is correct, pages are well lighted, and orientation of pages is the same – should not change between portrait and landscape, it added.

How to submit final projects, dissertations, fieldwork journals, and internship reports online:

• Visit the official website, i.e., ignou.ac.in.
• On the homepage, click on, "Online Link for Submission of Final Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journals/Internships Reports for June 2021 Session Last Date is 15th June 2021"
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Read the full notification carefully and then proceed.
• Click on the 'Yes' option, then select the option you want to upload
• Submit the file.
• Due to the corona-19 pandemic, it has been decided to postpone Learner Support Services at all Regional Centre/Learner Support Centre's (LSC). The University has further decided to introduce and adopt "Online Mode" to submit the final Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journals/Internship Report to facilitate the learners.
• The learners are expected to prepare the Project Report based on the approved Project proposal wherever applicable as per the project guidelines. The Project guidelines will be the same as contained in the project guidelines booklet sent with SLM

Indira Gandhi National Open University aka IGNOU has extended its deadline to submit the assignments for TEE in December 2021. Now, the assignment submission date is 31st October and students can check all the details on the official website of IGNOU.

IGNOU released an official notice and declared that the university with the approval of the Competent Authority has postponed the deadline of the assignment submission for both hard and soft copy till 31st October 2021. This deadline is for those who are going to appear for the Term-End Exams in December 2021.

Meanwhile, the university has also extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the July 2021 session till 11th October. This deadline is for the candidates who are willing to take admission in the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma programs. However, this is not applicable to certificate programs of 6 months or less. IGNOU assignment status and marks for TEE December 2023 are now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments goes for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once the Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Official Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. IGNOU Assignment Result and Marks 2024

The assignment status will show you when the evaluation is done. The university will start updating your marks on the grade card as soon as the evaluation of the assignments is done. So, you must check the grade card after the assignment status says you to do so.

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at www.ignou.ac.in and go to Student Zone.

Step – 2 –  Search for Results and click on it.

Step – 3 – From the left panel, click on Grade Card.

Step – 4 – Provide your program, course, and enrolment number to search and get your grade card.

As you see your grade card, you can check whether the university has updated your assignment marks on it or not. If the search results are leading to an error, this means the university has not yet started updating the grade cards of the students for this semester.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status Is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

Guidelines for Submission of Assignments. The handwritten assignments are scanned into PDF format and the file must be named in the following format: Enrollment No+ Course Code e.g. If enrollment Number is 202012345 and Course is BCS011. The name of the Assignment file must be named as 202012345BCS011. PDF Kindly submit the assignments in the given format. if submitted ONLINE before the last date given by IGNOU.

IGNOU Assignment 2024: Submission Last date (May 31), Status, Marks

IGNOU   follows a multi-tier system of evaluation including Assignments, Term End Examination, Project or Practical examination. Every IGNOU candidate has to write and submit their IGNOU assignments to the study centre before the due date. If anyone fails to do so then he/she cannot attend the Term End Exam conducted by IGNOU in the month of June and December.

How to Download IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

The students can download the assignment papers by following these steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university at ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Student Support’ option, then click on ‘Student Zone’.

Step 3: Click on the option ‘Assignments’ and you will be redirected to the question papers.

Step 4: Select your respective course and download the assignment papers. 

Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

Assignments carry a total number of 30% marks in the overall percentage of a candidate, thus, it is compulsory for every student to submit the assignments within the stipulated time. It will increase one’s performance report on the grade card. Without assignments, the course is incomplete and one must necessarily submit it. The students must score at least 40% marks to pass and thereafter for filling the exam form to appear in the Term End Examination (TEE). 

Guidelines for Writing IGNOU Assignment 2024

Assignments constitute the continuous evaluation component of a course. They can be done in your home or workplace or library or any other place you think has the right environment. 

• It is important to write the answers in your own words. The university follows a strict “No Plagiarism” policy and it will not accept the assignments if plagiarised. 
• The study material provided to you is the best source to refer for writing answers. 
• The answers should be precise, well documented and relevant to the question. A reasonably adequate response can be presented within the required word limit.
• Whenever you receive a set of assignments, check them immediately. If there are some missing or blank pages, contact your concerned Regional Director.
• For your own record, retain a copy of all the answers to the assignments you submitted to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. It will help you in the future to prepare for Term End Examinations.

IGNOU Assignments can be submitted through Online and Offline modes. The mode of submission for assignments varies based on the respective study centers. Students can check the mode of assignment submission by visiting the official website of their respective regional center. Students who have completed their assignments can check the step-by-step guide to submit their assignments via online or offline modes:

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Online Mode:

IGNOU assignments can be submitted online mode by filling out the Google form or sending an email to the respective study centers of their respective regional center. Step-by-Step process to submit IGNOU assignments through Google form or email is as follows:

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Google Form:

Students can follow the steps given below to submit their IGNOU Assignment using Google Forms:

• Visit the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in.
• Click on “Regional Network” on the menu bar and then click on “Regional Centers” from the drop-down menu.
• Now Click on the “Regional Center’s Websites” and navigate to your respective regional center of IGNOU.
• Now visit the official website of your selected regional center’s website and click on “News and Event” on the homepage of the RC’s official website
• Now click on “Assignment Guidelines” or “Assignment Submission” where you’ll get the Google form link.
• By clicking on the Google form link, a new Google form for assignment submission will be open in a new tab.
• Now fill in all the important details such as name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.
• Upload all the scanned copies of assignment in the PDF format (make sure the file size does not exceed 100 MB) and submit the form.

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Email:

IGNOU has started accepting assignments via email. This facility might not be available for all study centers of your respective regional centers. If the Google Form submission is not available or the quota is full, students can submit their assignments by sending an email to their respective regional centers. The step-by-step process to submit IGNOU assignments via email is as follows:

• Find the official email address of your respective regional center through the official website of IGNOU under the “Regional Network” on the homepage.
• Mention all the important details of the IGNOU Assignment Front Page such as enrolment number, program name, subject code, study center code/name, session, contact details, etc.
• Attach all the scanned copies of your assignment in PDF format and send an email to your respective regional center.

After submitting the assignment via email, students will receive an acknowledgment email which might take a few hours. If you have still not received the email, check whether your study center is accepting through email or there’s a Google form link to submit the assignment. Students must note that many IGNOU Regional Centers are not sending acknowledgment emails so you don’t need to worry about it and keep checking the assignment submission status. ​

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Offline Mode:

Students are required to visit their respective Study or Regional Centers to submit the assignments for their respective courses. It is necessary to submit the assignments before filling the Term End Examination form. Go through the following points to know more about the submission process for assignments: 

• Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Full Address, Signature, and Date on the top of the first page of your response sheet. It must look like this - 

• Read the assignments carefully and follow the instructions, if any, given along with the questions.
• Go through the units on which the assignments are based. Note the important points related to the questions and rearrange them in a logical order and write a rough outline for your answer. 
• Use A4 size paper for writing your responses and tie all the pages carefully. Allow a margin on the left side and a few lines in between each answer. This will help the evaluator to write comments on the margin. 
• Do not print or type the answers and write the responses to assignments in your own handwriting.
• You must answer each question separately on a separate set of papers. Write the question number carefully before answering.
• The completed assignment must be submitted at the address communicated to you by the Regional Center or your program coordinator. 
• After submitting the assignment, get the duly signed acknowledgment slip from the Coordinator.

IGNOU TEE June 2021: Last date to submit Assignments Extended till June 15- check notice here

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date to submit an assignment for IGNOU TEE June 2021. The last date for assignment submission for the June term-end exams been extended till June 15.

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date to submit an assignment for IGNOU TEE June 2021. The last date for assignment submission for the June term-end examination has been extended till June 15, 2021. The official notice is available on the site of IGNOU on  ignou.ac.in.  Students of all programs can submit their assignments till the date mentioned above on the official website of IGNOU. Earlier, the Last date for the assignment submission for IGNOU TEE 2021 was scheduled for May 31st. 

According to the Notice issued by IGNOU,  "Extension of the last date for online physical submission of assignments for term-end examination, June 20 21 up to 15 June 2021."

"Extension of the last date for online physical submission of project reports internships fieldwork journal dissertation etc for end term examination June 20-21 up to 15 June 2021," adds the Notice.

The IGNOU has also extended the deadline for DECE project submission with a late submission fee of Rs 1000 till June 15."Extension of the last date for online/ physical resubmission of DECE 4 project of the DECE program for the term-end examinations June 2020 and December 2020 along with payment of Rs 1000 up to 15 June 2021," the notice added.

While submitting the IGNOU June 2021 final project through online mode, the proposal proforma must be duly approved in original, along with synopsis and bio-data of the project guide. Students must ensure that the original project report is to be scanned in a single pdf format file for one subject. In case IGNOU June 2021, project report is not found in order, it shall be returned to the student for resubmission. Four protesters who were jailed for writing anti-police graffiti in chalk on a temporary barricade near a Seattle police precinct have been awarded nearly $700,000 after a federal court jury decided their civil rights were violated.

The Jan. 1, 2021, arrests of the four followed the intense Black Lives Matter protests that rocked Seattle and numerous other cities throughout the world the previous summer in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a Black man. He was killed when a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for about 9 1/2 minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and pleading that he couldn’t breathe.

“The tensions of that summer and the feelings that were alive in the city at that time are obviously a big part of this case,” said Nathaniel Flack, one of the attorneys for the four protesters. “And what the evidence showed was that it was animus towards Black Lives Matter protesters that motivated the arrests and jailing of the plaintiffs.”

Derek Tucson, Robin Snyder, Monsieree De Castro and Erik Moya-Delgado were each awarded $20,000 in compensatory damages and $150,000 in punitive damages when the 10-person jury returned its verdict late Friday.

The lawsuit was filed in federal court against the city of Seattle and four police officers, Ryan Kennard, Dylan Nelson, Alexander Patton and Michele Letizia. The jury found the city and officers arrested and jailed the four as retaliation, and the officers acted with malice, reckless disregard or oppression denying the plaintiffs their First Amendment rights.

Email messages sent Tuesday to the Seattle city attorney’s office, Seattle police and the police guild seeking comment were not immediately returned.

On New Year’s Day 2021, the four protesters had used chalk and charcoal to write messages like “Peaceful Protest” and “Free Them All” on a temporary barricade near the police department’s East Precinct. Body cam images introduced at trial showed at last three police cruisers responded to the scene to arrest the four for violating the city’s anti-graffiti laws.

The four spent one night in jail, but they were never prosecuted.

Flack said testimony presented at trial showed police don’t usually enforce the law banning the use of sidewalk chalk. In fact, attorneys showed video of officers writing “I (heart) POLICE” with chalk on a sidewalk at another event in Seattle.

Flack said it was also unusual the four were jailed because it came during an outbreak of COVID-19 and only the most serious offenders were to be incarcerated.

“These officers were doing what they called the ‘protester exception’, which meant that if you’re a protester, if you have a certain message or a certain kind of speech that you’re putting out there, then they will book you into jail,” Flack said.

“The jury not only found that the individual officers were doing that, but that there was actually a broader practice that the city leadership knew about and was responsible for as well,” he said.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs said this should be a warning and a lesson to police officers and other government officials across the county who violate the First Amendment rights of citizens.

“This was a content-based and viewpoint-based law enforcement decision that resulted in our clients being locked up for what they had to say,” Flack said. “The important thing here is that the police cannot jail people for the content of their speech.”
