Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment scheme- 30 Marks
For the personal interview/assessment round, AIIMS will call candidates who have made it to the merit list based on the written exam. The weighting for the second stage will be 30 marks. The candidate's fate will be decided by the final merit list, which will be based on their performance in both stages. Almost three times as many candidates will be invited to the interview than the actual no. of seats available. The following criteria will be considered during the evaluation process:

In B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, 100 multiple choice questions will be there. While in B.SC post basic 70 MCQS . And the time duration for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing will be 2 hours . For B.Sc post basic nursing entrance test the time duration will be 90 minutes.

Exam Pattern for B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic)
The selection of candidates will be made on a 2-stage performance evaluation as under :
Stage I (Written Test) : Candidate will appear for an entrance examination (Written Test) of 90 minutes duration consisting of one paper containing 70 objective type (Multiple Choice) questions in the subjects of fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing including Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology, Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Trends in Nursing.
Stage II (Personal Assessment / Interview) : On the basis of the merit list based on the marks secured in Stage-I , candidate three times the number of seats will be invited for Personal Assessment by a Selection Committee. If requisite number of SC or ST candidates are not available, then candidates belonging to SC and ST taken together will be invited. In case candidates belonging to SCs, STs & OBC (NCL)s are not available for Personal Assessment, then the number of candidates from the General category will be proportionately increased.
NOTE- Admission will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by candidates in Stage-I & Stage-II.
AIIMS B.Sc NURSING: MODE OF EXAMINATION

NOTE 1. Educational Qualification
AIIMS Nursing for BSc (Hons) Eligibility
1. Candidates should have cleared class 12 exams or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
2. Candidates of the general category should have secured a minimum of 55 per cent in aggregate in class 12, and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate.
AIIMS Nursing for BSc (Post-Basic) Eligibility
1. Candidates should have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with Physics, Chemistry, English, and biology or Math subjects. However, candidates who have qualified for class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply.
2. Candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution.
3. Candidates must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council. While in the case of male nurses, besides being registered nurses, they should have six-month training in any of the mentioned subjects is mandatory.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024: Scheme of Exam
1. In the case of honors papers, candidates will get 2 hours or 120 minutes for finishing the test
2. Candidates appearing for the Post Basic Nursing paper will be given 90 minutes to complete the test
3. Both Honors and Post Basic papers exams will be conducted in online mode
4. For both the honors and post basic papers, MCQ questions will be asked. Each question will have 4 options and students need to mark the correct answer
5. The total marks for the AIIMS BSc Nursing Honors paper is 100 and for post basic paper, the total marks is also 100 but it is divided into 2 parts: 70 for the written examination and 30 for the personal interview round
6. Each correct response will get a score of one mark.
7. Each incorrect response will get a deduction of 1/3 mark.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. The Examination Centre will be opened two hours before the commencement of the test. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
2. The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall by the Centre Superintendent.
3. A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be cancelled.
4. During the examination time, the Invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to ascertain the identity of each candidate. The Invigilators will also put their own signature in the place provided in the Answer Sheet and on the Attendance Sheet.
5. A candidate who comes late shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre under any circumstances.
6. Candidates are not allowed to bring any barred item or any item which could be used for Unfair practices. Possession of any such article with the candidates inside the Centre premises will attract the penalties of unfair practices.
