I love working in the garden. When my mom works there, I help her a lot. I love the flowers and she is seeding some vegetables too.

I am really happy to have such great parents.

They take care of our health. While keeping unwell, my dad calls the doctor or takes me to the doctor so that I get recovered soon. They pray to God every day for my health. In addition to household chores, my mom also helps me out with my homework. 

We spend a lot of time together on the weekends and holidays. We go out to the movies or eat in the restaurant. During long vacations, we go to beautiful beaches or mountains to calm our nerves and refresh ourselves. My dad loves beaches while my mom is fond of hill areas. I like both. I just love spending my vacations with them. 

Everyone loves their parents because they support and save you from every evil thing. Not only do they protect us but also they sacrifice our well-being as well. The value of our parents cannot be described in words. We cannot rise and shine without them. They play a great role in our lives so that we can gain all the success and happiness in the world.

My parents are my biggest source of strength. They stand by me and help me whenever I am in trouble.  My parents make me feel safe at all times.

We live in Varanasi, but my parents are from Mumbai. My mother is a nutritionist and my father is a doctor by profession. My parents are good Badminton players, and I am also learning the game from them.  My mother is also a good swimmer and I accompany her to the swimming club in our society on all Sundays to learn how to swim.

 My mother makes breakfast and our tiffins every morning. Before she leaves for work, she makes sure to finish all the cooking for the day too. My father helps my mother with a lot of things. My father helps me and my brother in getting ready for school every day., while my mother is in the kitchen. Mother takes care not to forget to put our tiffin boxes inside our bags.  She also makes sure we have all our necessary books and notebooks in the schoolbags as per the daily routine. My mother is a great cook and prepares very delicious food. My father is a very good cook too and he enjoys cooking.

Parents take care of our health and look after us properly, and make sure I and my brother are very well taken care of. In addition to household chores, my mother also helps me with my homework, whenever I need help.

Parents are the closest people that we have in our lives, whether we realize it or not. They love us not because we are smart, beautiful, successful or we have a good sense of humour, but just because we are their children. I, too, love mom and dad simply because they are my parents, but I think I would have felt the same even if they weren’t. I love who they are as people, each with their own individual traits – and, together, forming an amazing super-team that’s made me who I am today and taught me what life is all about.

My mother is a cheerful, chatty perfectionist who seems to always find something to get excited about and who can talk for hours about animals and flowers. She is never afraid to speak her mind and she can be very convincing when she wants to. She sometimes get upset a bit too easily, but she is just as quick to forgive and forget. I love mom for all that she is – even when she’s angry – for all that she has done for me, and for all that she’s taught me. My mom has been through a lot throughout the years, but she always kept fighting.She taught me to never lose hope even in the direst of moments, and she showed me how to look for happiness in the small things. She’s been trying to teach me to be more organized as well, but hasn’t succeeded yet. I love her for that too.

My father is quiet, patient and calm, and he has an adorable hit-and-miss sense of humour. I may not always find his jokes that funny, but I love him for trying. Dad almost never gets angry and he is always polite, friendly and nice to everyone. My parents are teachers while my uncles are in the police force. Despite being busy with their jobs, all the elders share the responsibility of doing household chores and do not leave all the burden on the women of the house. My mother also helps us with our studies and homework. 

We have a huge dining table and every night, all the family members sit together to dine. We share our happiness and troubles with each other. If a family member is in some kind of difficulty, other members do their best to help him or her.

The elders always share their wisdom with us and show us the right path. We also love going out together and we go for family outings every once in a while. I am thankful that I am blessed with such a wonderful family.

A family can mean different things to different people. In a traditional sense, it is a group of people related by blood, marriage or adoption living together. Some people have a small family while some others are blessed with a large family. I live in a joint family. My parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts all live together. I also have two siblings and three cousins. We go to the same school and get along very well.

My family loves to go out together and we often go for family outings. Our favourite is a picnic spot near our house where we go almost every two weeks. We also have good relations with our other relatives and they visit us during the holidays. Having a large family is amazing. Even when our parents are busy or out of town, we are never left alone.

There is always someone to take care of us when we fall sick and there is always someone to rely on when we need help. It is said that a person’s family influences their nature, character and personality a lot. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. It is because of their good influence that I have become a good person.

What Martin Short and Meryl Streep have said about each other

Martin Short and Meryl Streep looked like the best of friends at the Season Four premiere of "Only Murders in the Building."

At the red carpet event, Streep wore a patterned navy blue and white dress and Short donned a classic black suit that he accented with a burgundy tie. In some snaps that were taken of them during the night, Short and Streep were seen holding hands and laughing alongside their co-stars on the red carpet.

Then, at the afterparty, Short and Streep were seen holding hands again . Online, fans commented about the moment and said it was "adorable."

"I am officially deceased!" one person wrote.

Another added, "So cute ❤️."

This sweet display of PDA follows a slew of romance rumors about Streep and Short. For months, fans of the Hulu mystery series have been speculating that the actors, who play a couple on the show, are dating. Viewers noted their undeniable chemistry in the show's third season and they have also pointed out the multiple public appearances the pair have made together recently.

The two Hollywood icons will continue their on-screen romance when Season 4 of "Only Murders in the Building" arrives Aug. 27.

While their characters are head over heels for each other, Short and Streep's relationship is platonic. The 74-year-old comedian dismissed dating rumors about them while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Aug. 22. He told the publication that he and Streep are just "friends."

Then, in January, he commented on their friendship during an appearance on the “ Club Random with Bill Maher ” podcast.

“We’re not a couple,” he confirmed. “We are just very close friends.”

Short was previously married to his wife of 30 years, Nancy Dolman, before she died from ovarian cancer in 2010 at the age of 58. In his August interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he spoke about his late wife and revealed what he told their three children after her death.

"It was absolutely horrible, obviously, and as sad as anything," he said.

"But I will tell you what I said to my kids at the time: 'I believe Mom has zoomed into our souls,'" he added before referencing a George Eliot quote.

He continued, "George Eliot said, 'Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them.' We were together for 36 years. I didn’t want to forget Nancy."

His co-star Streep has been married to her husband, Don Gummer, for over 40 years. But a few weeks after the Season Three finale of “Only Murders in the Building” aired in October 2023, Streep , 75, revealed that she and Gummer, have been separated for more than six years.

Although Streep and Short have been friends for years, they are sharing the screen for the first time as love interests in the hit whodunit series.

Short opened up about working with Streep in a 2023 interview with Backstage , sharing his admiration for the “Let Them All Talk” star’s record-setting 21 Oscar nominations.

“Who’s even made 21 movies?” he joked.

He also shared a funny memory from the set of their Hulu show. He said that once, while Streep was about to begin performing a scene, one of the show’s creators thought she was talking to them on set, and responded to her. 

She looked annoyed then, because in reality, she had just delivered her first line in the scene.

“She’s so good that you don’t even know when you’ve started,” Short said.

He later recalled a wry comment Streep made to him after they had finished filming a scene on the Staten Island Ferry.

“I just want you to know that, sometimes, I can be quite good. And that was an example of it,” Streep said, according to Short.

He also described Streep’s process as bringing “full commitment to every rehearsal, and I understand that.”

On Feb. 3, 2015, Short and Streep smiled together backstage at the Broadway play, “It’s Only a Play.”

Streep and Short were spotted together once more on June 8, 2017, at the Lifetime Achievement Gala honoring Diane Keaton at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

They sat next to Keaton at the event, and they were also joined by Steve Martin, who is in "Only Murders in the Building."

February 2023: Another Broadway evening

Short and Streep made another appearance together at the opening night of the Broadway play “Pictures from Home” on Feb. 9, 2023, joined by their “Only Murders” co-star, Martin.

January 2024: Multiple joint appearances

Streep and Short were all smiles as they posed together at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Jan. 7, 2024. 

The actors appeared to sit side by side during the ceremony and they were captured posing affectionately with each other during the event.

A few days later on Jan. 12, they appeared together once again at the AFI Awards luncheon in Los Angeles.

They laughed together in multiple photos and appeared to be having a great time in each other’s company.

Not long after their two joint appearances in January, romance rumors began to swirl about the pair, with many fans sharing their excitement on social media about the possible pairing.

“Meryl streep and martin short are my TV parents,” another person wrote .

“Meryl Streep and martin short being friends is iconic enough,” another X user wrote , “but can you imagine if they are actually dating ……… legends.”

But again, Short firmly denied these dating rumors on Bill Maher's podcast in late January, and a rep for Short also told People in January that he and Streep “are just very good friends, nothing more.”

Streep, who is typically private about her personal life, does not appear to have commented publicly on her friendship with Short.

March 2024: They attend Broadway show 'Merrily We Roll Along'

Martin Short and Meryl Streep stepped out in New York for a performance of “Merrily We Roll Along” on Broadway.

The two actors attended the performance on March 16 and went backstage to meet the cast afterwards.

Krystal Joy Brown , who stars in the musical as Gussie, documented the moment and shared a picture she took with Streep and Short.

“I am absolutely floored,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “I performed for these two legends and they were so kind and effusive about our show and said some kind words to me I will NEVER forget.”

Brown also posted a video of Streep speaking to the entire crew, gushing, “You were wonderful.”

An attendee at the show also shared to social media a photo of Streep and Short sitting together in the audience.
