Old (2021) [No Spoilers] I really wanted this film to be good. I like M. Night. He's not the greatest director in the world but he's talented and I've always rooted for him. This film had an interesting plot and it threw it all away. This was a boring film all through out it's runtime. It never picked up.

SPOILERS (b/c I don't know how to do the spoiler blackout on my phone): I was actually hoping that it would end with them saying "wanna build a sandcastle?" and forgetting all about escaping--highlighting the fact that they're kids and don't really understand long-term consequences. But then all th explanatory stuff ruined it even more.
