This research endeavors to propel, empower, and transform Saudi society through the strategic integration of technology-led e-learning within the higher educational institutions of the Kingdom. With the imminent future of learning heavily reliant on technology, the potential for ubiquitous and ondemand knowledge acquisition is set to revolutionize education in the upcoming decades. Our findings underscore the profound influence of technology-led learning on higher education in Saudi Arabia, establishing its pivotal role in driving societal progress. Central to our investigation is an indepth exploration of diverse e-learning technologies and their profound implications on advancement and empowerment, ultimately instigating a substantial metamorphosis in the fabric of Saudi society. By affording individuals access to a tailored technology-led e-learning platform, the study envisages a profound restructuring of the populace, fostering a skilled and adaptive citizenry. A notable aspect of our research is the discernment of the government's instrumental role as a mediator in facilitating the adoption and implementation of technology-led e-learning, particularly in segments of society where access to these resources remains limited or absent. This mediation bears relevance in the context of the nation's vision for 2030 and forms a cornerstone of our contributions to inform the Ministry of Education and the Kingdom at large about the prospects of embracing a technology-led e-learning system. Moreover, our study delves into the scope and limitations surrounding the implementation of technology-led e-learning within higher education, effectively charting a course for societal transformation by invigorating the higher education system with innovative pedagogy. In conclusion, our research expands the horizons for Saudi learners and educational institutions alike, creating pathways for connectivity, talent acquisition, and representation on the global stage through the medium of advancing technology-led e-learning in higher education within the Kingdom.

Artisanal gold mining (AGM) is a grave problem in Zimbabwe that threatens the country"s national security for it effect environmental, economic, water, food, and physical insecurities. The ensuing study investigates the drivers of AGM, effects of AGM on the country"s peace and security, and, suggest ways in which the AGM-induced security challenges can be mitigated. The findings made herein show that inasmuch as the economic motivation shapes the AGM, but there are a myriad of factors and actors active in shaping the sector. So, there is need for an integrated stratagem; pronouncing the entire range from grassroots poverty relief actions to "high level" political will, attending good governance and legal basis that consider AGMiners as citizens with rights and responsibilities. The physical environment that offers the basic life needs is wrecked by the AGM operations that destroy farmlands, polluting and silting water bodies serving as irrigation and potable water in the country, yet threatening food security. Economically, the government is losing lot revenue from AGM because gold is smuggled out of the country. Without revenue, the government cannot build the essential infrastructure, generate employment and capital to capacitate the military and other state security agencies. Zimbabwe"s physical security is threatened as criminals and some AGMiners acquire firearms, machetes, and other dangerous weapons to defend their activities. Important to lessen AGM and guard the Zimbabwe"s national security, is the pragmatic measures, needful of inclusive effort by government and its agencies, civil society, private sector, and the media to curb AGMiners" threats and education on the national security implications of their actions. The study is informed by Realism, Political Ecology, and Peacebuilding theoretical models. To meet the study objectives, the study adopts qualitative methodology utilizing Semi-Structured Interviews, Key Informant Interviews, Transect Walks and Focus Group Discussions amongst participants recruited using purposive sampling technique.

Climate change is described as a change in weather patterns caused mostly by greenhouse gas emissions from natural systems and human activities. Anthropogenic activities have so far resulted in around 1.0 °C of global warming above pre-industrial levels, with 1.5 °C projected between 2030 and 2052 if current emission rates continue. In 2018, the world had 315 natural disasters, the majority of which were caused by climate change. Storms, floods, wildfires, and droughts affected around 68.5 million people, resulting in $131.7 billion in economic losses, with sto rms, floods, wildfires, and droughts accounting for roughly 93 percent of the total. The economic losses attributable to wildfires in 2018 are nearly comparable to the total losses experienced by wildfires over the previous decade, which is frightening. Furthermore, the most susceptible sectors under climate change have been recognised as food, water, health, ecology, human habitat, and infrastructure. Climate change is one of the most difficult problems we face today. It has many facets-science, economics, society, politics, and moral and ethical issues and is a global issue that will be felt on local scales for decades and centuries. Carbon dioxide, the heat-trapping greenhouse gas that has fueled recent global warming, can stay in the atmosphere for hundreds of years, and the Earth (particularly the seas) takes a long time to adjust to warming. As a result, even if we completely ceased generating greenhouse gases today, global warming and climate change would continue to effect fu ture generations. As a result, humanity has "committed" to a certain degree of climate change. This Article will highlight the current trends and the measures taken and the future steps which have been decided to take up.

Enhancing Time Series Forecasting with the Advanced Cumulative Weighted Moving Average Technique

Accurate forecasting is applied to several industries, especially in automotive engineering, where tasks are prediction of car spare parts demands and estimation of maintenance works to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. Traditional methods for forecasting, Moving Averages, and Exponential Smoothing often need to capture the dynamic nature of these demands. This paper introduces a new technique in the family of weighted moving average techniques: the cumulative weighted average method. It follows that the more recent data points will be given progressively increasing weights, making this type of forecast more accurate. This is again illustrated by a numerical example in which we compare CWMA against traditional methods and show that CWMA produces more accurate forecasts, as evidenced by its lower Mean Squared Error. The study further envisages the potential of CWMA to enhance forecasting quality in the automotive environment, specifically in managing spare parts inventory or maintenance planning activities. It is recommended to validate using real-world data and further research into possible improvements to enhance the accuracy and applicability of CWMA.

How to submit articles in ijar (an open access journal).

Manuscripts should be mailed to [email protected] in only ‘.doc’ format. Pdf files are not accepted. Articles can also be uploaded through Online Submission. After receiving the article, an article number will be generated and mailed to the person submitting document within 48 hours.

If documents can’t be sent through email, please fill the form on Contact Us page of Website.

Every article should be attached with a covering letter including author’s full address with Telephone/Fax Number. Authors have the flexibility of selecting any panel of two to four reviewers for reviewing his/her article, however IJAR, has the authority to designate other reviewers.

Article Types

Three types of manuscripts may be submitted:

Regular articles:

Regular articles are findings or careful examination of facts and ideas. They contain sufficient detail of the work to make the analysis precise and clear. The length of article should be sufficient to provide complete detail and gist of work.

Short Communications:

It records Results of investigations, describing new models and hypotheses, methods, techniques or apparatus. The length of short communication is may be around 1000 to 2000 words.

Review Articles:

Articles are examined by an editorial board of assigned reviewers. The authors are informed of reviewers’ comments within two weeks. Articles may be submitted to editorial board for reexamination. IJAR publishes all accepted articles within 2 weeks of submission.

Review Process

All manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial board and assigned reviewers. Decisions will be made as rapidly as possible, and the journal strives to return reviewer’s comments to authors within 2 weeks. The editorial board will re-review manuscripts that are pending for revision. It is the goal of the IJAR to publish accepted manuscripts within 2 weeks after submission.

Regular articles

Every page beginning from the first one, should be given numbers and text should be double-spaced. Title should be compact and brief and the title page should contain Author’s full name, affiliations, name of corresponding author, his/her phone or mobile number, fax and email that are necessary for publication on research paper publication sites.
Abstract should be precise and self-explanatory presenting topic, state and scope of experiments, including substantial data and indicate observations and conclusions. It may vary from 100 to 250 words. Abstract should be in written in third person and in past tense with complete sentences and active verbs. Abstract should use Standard Nomenclature and not contain abbreviations.
From Abstract, 3 to 6 keywords should be given to provide indexing references.
The introduction of article contains precise description of problem, literature relevant to subject matter and the proposed strategy and solution. It should be written in easy language, easily comprehensible by colleagues coming from varied disciplines of science.
The resources and procedures described should be complete so that the experiments can be repeated with provided descriptions. Whereas the details of previously published procedures are only cited, the description of new procedures should be given at point and the important modifications in published procedures, if any, should be mentioned in brief. Trade Names should be capitalized and the manufacturer’s name and address should also be included. Sub headings should be used as per requirement.
Results should be precise and clear. They should describe the observations and conclusions of experiments in past tense. Observations and conclusions, previously published follow present tense. Conclusions are explained largely without any reference to literature. Results should not contain deliberations, assumptions or interpretation of data. These are put in Discussions sections.
The discussions are deliberations on observations of contemporary and past annotations on the topic. The conclusion should be described in a few sentences at the end of paper. The results and discussion sections contain subheadings and both sections can also be combined as per requirement.
People, contributions and funds etc. should be acknowledged in brief.
Tables should be minimum and as simple as possible. They should by typed with double space from heading to foot notes. Each table should have a heading and a story and start on a new page and be numbered in Arabic numerals. Tables should be self-explanatory and without any reference to text. The details of procedures followed in experiment are described in story and not in text. The table or graph and the text should not contain any repeated data.
Pictorial stories should be in numerical order on a new sheet. Graphics and Tables should be prepared in MS Word. To label figures, Arabic numerals and for their parts, Upper case letters should be used (Fig 1). Every Story should start with a title and include sufficient details to make figure comprehensible without any need of reading the text. The info given in stories should not repeat in text.
References: Reference coupled with author’s name should follow date of reference in parentheses. If authors are more than two, the first author’s name is followed by ‘et al’. If author has two or more manuscripts published in same year, the reference, both in text and in reference list, should be acknowledged by lower case letters ‘a’ and ‘b’ after the date to distinguish the works.

Vikas (2008), (Steddy et al., 2012), (Kelebeni, 1983), (Singh and Chandra, 1992), (Chege, 1998; Gold, 1987a, b; Blake, 1993, 1995). References should be given in alphabetical order at the end of paper. Reference list should not include articles under preparation or articles submitted for publication, unpublished observations, personal communications etc. They should be mentioned in article text (e.g., A. Kingori, University of Nairobi, Kenya, personal communication). The names of journal are abbreviated as per chemical abstracts. The accuracy of abstracts is the sole responsibility of Authors.

References should be listed at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. Articles in preparation or articles submitted for publication, unpublished observations, personal communications, etc. should not be included in the reference list but should only be mentioned in the article text (e.g., A. Kingori, University of Nairobi, Kenya, personal communication). Journal names are abbreviated according to Chemical Abstracts. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy of the references.

Short Communications

Short Communication may contain maximum three pictures and one table. They present a complete study limited in scope than found in full-length papers. Short communication is like the article preparation mentioned above with following differences:

Proofs, Reprints and manuscript charges: Electronic proofs will be sent (e-mail attachment) to the corresponding author as a PDF file. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage. Because IJAR will be published online, authors will have free electronic access to the full text (PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

The accepted manuscripts will be published online free of cost, but the authors have to pay processing fees only which will be very nominal. Before the accepted paper is published we will intimate the fees in the acceptance letter. Kindly note that ability to pay the publication fee doesn’t necessarily guarantee that the paper will be accepted for publication in IJAR, because we, at IJAR, believe that quality comes first.

Only those articles should be submitted that have not been published in past anywhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis) or have not been under consideration for publication anywhere. If the article is accepted for publication, author agrees to automatically handover all the copyrights to publisher.
