The project entitled thesis archiving management system is a web based project design and developed using PHP, MySQL and Bootstrap.. This will serve as a repository and at the same time the students can access the records online. Searching of titles and uploading of documents such as pdf, word and powerpoint files are the main feature of the said project. Bootstrap is used to design the interface of the project, it simply means that the template is responsive and it can be also access through mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Database Schema with description of table:

tblauthors (id, thesisid, fname, lname) – this table will store information on the different authors of the thesis or capstone project, it includes information such as firstname and lastname. The tblauthors table is connected to the tblproject which indicates the thesisid as the foreign key.

tblchart (id, year, qty) – chart table will store information as to the number of thesis or capstone project published every year.

tblcourse (id, name) – tblcourse is the table that will store information on the different courses, colleges and departments.

tblfile (id, project_id, path_1, path_2) – tblfile table is the table that will store the information on the uploaded files. For this project, the user can only upload the abstract, chapter 1 and chapter 2.

tblmembers (id, fname, lname, username, password, email, level, status, code) – the project is online, so therefore to monitor usage of the visitors and students as well, the tblmembers will store the information of the students and visitors who wants to access the list of thesis projects.

tblproject (id, title, description, category, course, year, datesubmitted, format, path) – tblproject is the table that will hold the information of the thesis and capstone projects, it includes the title, brief description, category, course and year.

tblview (id, project_id, user_id, date_view) – this table will hold the record on the date the project was viewed by the visitor and students.

Search Module – the search module will allow the visitors and students to search for the thesis title they want to view. This module will also allow the user to view and download the abstract and other documents of the thesis project.

Administrative Module – the admin module will allow the authorized users to access the different functions of the project such as encoding and uploading of thesis and capstone projects.

This application’s primary objective is to provide students of a certain university or college schools with online access to save their final year projects and to make it possible for students of lower years to locate some references and ideas for their future or forthcoming final year project. The system was developed using PHP/OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), and it possesses a variety of features and functions that are typical of this category of computer program. The Management Module and the Student Module are the two parts that make up this online thesis archiving system:

The Management Module is the section of the system where the administration of the school is able to control the information included on the system as well as the vital lists contained on the system. While utilizing the system, end users may benefit from or have a more enjoyable experience thanks to certain features that are included in the system. The list of projects includes both a search function and a pagination function for easier navigation.

mysql is not supported for the latest php update. You need to used mysqli.

Deep Learning is a powerful Machine Learning tool, especially suitable for complex, nonlinear environments, like Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or Time Series forecasting. In recent years, there was a rise in applications of Deep learning to Financial Time Series. However, this stream of literature is inherently technical. Machine Learning specialists view financial data as one of time series domains, mostly uninterested in theoretical considerations or meaningful interpretation of results. We aim to shorten this gap.

We deploy LSTM, CNN and CNN-LSTM architectures in the task of forecasting daily return of Russian Exchange Index (IMOEX), and propose the use of 6 groups of macroeconomic variables and index constitutes to try enhance models' performance. We are unable to outperform zero naïve predictor; however, we find that all of 6 groups (Underlying Stocks, Sectoral Indexes, Bonds, Commodities, Exchange rates and Foreign market indexes) improve models' forecast quality. In addition to this, we employ novel approach to Machine Learning interpretation, using SHAP values as measures of feature importance. We detect the effect of gold on Russian stock market during our considered period of late 2019, as well as several other interesting patterns.
