The College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics has diverse academic missions, including research, patient care, clinical service contracts, and the medical education of residents, fellows, medical students and healthcare professionals, Graduate Assistants, and Postdoctoral Associates in the research arena. Early Steps is a support program division in the department. Florida’s early intervention system offers services to infants and toddlers with significant delays or conditions that are likely to result in developmental delays. Early Intervention is provided to support families and caregivers in developing the competence and confidence to help their child learn and grow. Primary role of this position is to enter provider claims data into the Early Steps data base and Epic. This role also aids with the Early Steps Service Providers enrollment process, Medicaid verification, intake assistance, and fiscal responsibilities.
